Als** Innovation Manager** zal je rechtstreeks **aan de CEO rapporteren** en** in tandem werken** met de** R&D Manager**. Jouw ultieme drijfveer? Met je baanbrekende, innovatieve ideeën een cruciale rol spelen in het verder **versterken van de positie van Boplan als marktleider**.
- Je ontwikkelt en implementeert een ambitieuze en toekomstgerichte **innovatiestrategie**, die **aansluit** bij de **groeidoelstellingen **van Boplan.
- Je overziet en **coördineert alle innovatieprojecten,** van concept tot marktintroductie. Je bouwt mee aan de **ontwikkeling **van nieuwe producten.
- Je **inspireert **en stuurt het jonge en dynamische team van vier personen aan, bestaande uit Product Designers en een Product Specialist.
- Het opvolgen van **trends **en **ontwikkelingen **in de **markt **en anticiperen op toekomstige noden en behoeften staat centraal hier. Je denkt **out-of-the-box **en stelt bijgevolg een **roadmap **op voor **productontwikkeling**, waarbij je rekening houdt met kosten, prijzen en rentabiliteit.
- Je staat midden in de business, aangezien je via de klanten/sales nieuwe kansen kan ontdekken. Je maakt ook continu deze **commerciële reflectie**.
Als gepassioneerde Innovation Manager geef je mee vorm aan de innovatiestrategie en stuur je het bestaande team aan. Je bent een coach en inspirator.
**Boplan**, met roots in West-Vlaanderen en HQ in Moorsele (Wevelgem), bestaat dit jaar 25 jaar en groeide uit tot een **internationale, **toonaangevende **producent **van **hoogwaardige **en **innovatieve val-en stootbeveiliging **voor diverse industriële toepassingen. Het bedrijf groeide fors de laatste jaren en dit is ook de koers die Boplan verder vaart.
Vandaag werken **230 medewerkers** wereldwijd voor Boplan. De focus ligt op **kwaliteit, innovatie en product leadership**. Met business units over heel Europa willen ze zo dicht bij de klanten gepositioneerd zijn, om een **uitstekende klantenservice **te garanderen. Wat Boplan verder nog typeert: proactiviteit, positiviteit, dynamiek en flexibliteit, maar vooral ook openheid en respectvol zijn naar elkaar toe.
Boplan onderscheidt zich door zijn sterke **toewijding aan verbetering en de drang naar innovatie**, waarbij voortdurend nieuwe technologieën en materialen worden geïntegreerd. In het kader hiervan gaan we op zoek naar een **gepassioneerde Innovation Manager**, die mee vorm geeft aan de strategie en het bestaande team zal coachen en aansturen.
- Je hebt** minstens tien jaar ervaring **in een R&D-gerelateerde functie, met een sterke focus op **innovatiemanagement**. Dit bij voorkeur in een** industriële productieomgeving.**:
- Je focus ligt op **product leadership**.
- Je bent in staat om **strategische **beslissingen te vertalen naar **concrete actieplannen **en beschikt dus over een sterk analytisch vermogen. Daarnaast ben je zeer **creatief **ingesteld.
- Uitstekende **communicatieve vaardigheden **zijn cruciaal, aangezien je continu schakelt tussen verschillende stakeholders binnen de organisatie.
- Je bent een **gepassioneerde coach **die zijn/haar team weet te inspireren en te motiveren, en die hen meeneemt in het streven naar innovatie.
- Je werkt graag in een dynamische omgeving en kan je **flexibel **opstellen. Je bent **positief **ingesteld en denkt continu strategisch vooruit.
