**Introduction**:
The Independent Verification, Validation and Quality (IVVQ) organizational element is responsible for the agency-wide governance of all verification and validation aspects across the full service and capability life-cycle; and, for the provision of IVVQ services and facilities to support other service lines and programme offices in IVVQ-related activities such as quality and change management.

The Testing Verification and Validation (TVV) Service Management Branch is responsible for the provision and management of all facilities and infrastructure related to verification, validation, change evaluation, experimentation and simulation.

**Skills, knowledge, experience required**:

- At least 5 years’ post related experience, and in particular:

- Providing and operating Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) based on VMWare products (VSAN);
- Maintenance (configure, troubleshoot, patch, update and upgrade) of MS Windows server based domains;
- Managing and implementing security settings, Security policies and security guidance for Linux, MS OS and MS products;
- Configuring services based on WSUS, MECM (former SCCM), McAfee ePO;
- Operating and maintaining the backup and restore solutions, such as Veeam;
- Experience in maintaining and operating storage solutions, such as NFS and MSA.

**Desirable**:

- Experience with CI/CD processes;
- Hands on experience with private, public and hybrid cloud environments;
- Hands on experience in using configuration management tools, such as Azure DevOps, Ansible, Terraform.

**Duties/role**:

- Operating and maintaining IVVQ test and reference environments;
- Configuring reference environments in preparation for test events;
- Ensuring that environments comply with NATO security requirements, including up to date patch and update levels;
- Ensuring that reference environments replicate production environments to ensure that test activities are conducted in a suitable environment;
- Providing support for IVVQ activities in the NCIA Change Manage Process;
- Supporting projects in test and reference environments preparation leading up to a test event.
