Supply Chain Manager Packaged Gas

For our Benelux supply chain, we look for a dynamic Supply Chain Manager for our Packaged Gas business to optimize our logistic and asset processes.
In this role you are at the heart of our supply chain process ensuring smooth logistics and optimal use and availability of our assets.

**The mission is to drive the Packaged Gases Supply Chain Performance in order to identify potential optimization and recommend improvements (related to safety, reliability, customer satisfaction, efficiency, costs, budgets and employee experience), and to analyze the causes of malfunction and propose and implement corrective actions. The cylinder supply chain includes the asset and stock management (from procurement to testing and to retirement, conversion of assets, optimal and correct stock on all sites, movement of stock,..) and the transportation activities (secondary and primary).**
**The PG Supply chain manager and his/her team bring support to the sites, define and help to implement tools, best practices and processes for logistics and assets management.**
**He/she promotes and develops an efficient and collaborative communication between the sites (eg. movements of assets between sites, logistics support in case of crisis...) and between the sites and the other departments of the company **.**
**He/she monitors and analyzes the evolution of the key performance indicators and manages the costs and budget of his/her perimeter.**
**He/she promotes standardization within the Benelux cylinder asset park.**
**He/she is involved and takes the ownership or facilitates transformation projects in his/her scope of activity (assets, logistics) defined by the affiliate or the group (ICO, S&OP, C-IMP, acquisitions etc...).**
**The PG supply chain manager and his/her team are managing together with procurement external partners and suppliers for logistics and assets (3rd party logistics, retesting, asset suppliers,..) to guarantee a smooth supply chain.**
**The PG supply chain manager is the process owner for the process “Road Safety” **for Packaged Gases transportation and ensures that transport operations are compliant with all governmental rules, ADR and AL specifications. He/she promotes safe behavior and quality inside the company and at subcontractor facilities.
**He/she manages a team of 5 people.

- **Strong knowledge in supply chain management (transport, stock/asset) with several years of relevant industrial experience**
- **Well organized and structured**
- **Strong analytical skills**
- **Proactive and good follow-up**
- **C-imp mindset**
- **Team player that maintains good relationship with other departments**
- **Preferably team management experience**
- **Good knowledge of IT tools like PowerBI, SAP, Servitrax,.. (or capability to learn quickly)**
- **Languages: preferably both Dutch and French, English**
**Location: based in the Benelux (Brussels, Eindhoven, Herenthout or Milmort), with regular travels to the sites and external partners.
