IT-Planet is een gespecialiseerd informatica projectsourcing bedrijf, gelegen te Gent. We zijn actief bij diverse grote klanten over heel Vlaanderen en Brussel in volgende ICT-domeinen: Application Development, Infrastructure Services & Software Testing. Om ons team van 180 medewerkers te versterken zijn we momenteel op zoek naar een **PowerBI Developer** om aan de slag te gaan bij onze klant in **Brussel**.

Functie

Het doel van deze opdracht betreft het tijdelijk aanwerven van een ervaren Power BI / SSAS consultant voor de verdere migratie naar Power BI alsook de verdere ontwikkeling van nieuwe modellen en rapporten in Power BI Premium binnen het Data & Analytics team.

Volgende taken vallen onder de verantwoordelijkheid van de Power BI Developer:

- Design en ontwikkeling van geoptimaliseerde Tabular modellen in Power BI Premium op basis van de gegevens uit het Data & Analytics Platform.
- Ondersteuning van business BI teams bij de ontwikkeling van Power BI oplossingen.
- Optimalisatie van reeds bestaande modellen met het oog op de beste performantie en gebruik van de beschikbare capaciteit op het platform.
- Nauwe samenwerking met business teams om de functionele en technische requirements te vertalen en expertise te bieden waar nodig.
- Volgen van best practices in een development lifecycle
- Het verder mee uitwerken van een governance model en deze toepassen en aanbrengen bij de verschillende business BI teams.
- Ontwikkelen van op data mart gebaseerde OLAP cubes.
- Schrijven van geoptimaliseerde DAX.
- Schrijven van technische -en gebruikersdocumentatie.
- Ondersteuning bieden bij vragen van eindgebruikers.

Functie-eisen

De voorgestelde kandidaat moet ten minste 4 jaar ervaring hebben in implementatieprojecten binnen Power BI en moet volgende technologieën/technieken beheersen:

- Power BI Premium
- SSAS Tabular
- DAX
- T-SQL
- SQL Server (2016 e.v.)
- Dimensional Modeling
- Ervaring met Microsoft Power Platform is een plus
- Ervaring met Azure Data Factory is een plus
- Ervaring met Synapse Analytics is een plus

Ervaring hebben in:

- Vertalen van complexe business vraagstukken naar concrete oplossingen binnen Power BI.
- Het raadplegen van gegevens in een Data Warehouse
- Algemene governance principes binnen een Power BI platform
- Ontwerpen van data marts volgens de Kimball methodologie.
- Bouwen van geoptimaliseerde OLAP cubes en het schrijven van DAX
- Data Visualisatie
