Do you like to share your instructional design expertise with training creators? Are you passionate about interacting with people from departments across the organization? And would you like to help define the training delivery and design guidelines of OMP?
If so, you could be our new Instructional Designer.
Your challenge
As an instructional designer, you collaborate with experts, trainers, and other stakeholders within the company to create effective, efficient, and engaging learning experiences. This includes taking the lead in the creation process and participating in the creation and development of training material (e.g., supporting the recording of training videos and giving advice on formats).
You are responsible for:
- Conducting a needs analysis to **identify learning objectives** and target audience characteristics within the company.
- **Gathering information and insights** from experts, trainers, and other stakeholders to support training development.
- Creating effective, engaging, and efficient learning experiences using instructional design principles and learning theories.
- **Creating guidelines** and practical tips and tricks for different training formats.
- Establishing a **continuous improvement approach** for all teachers by following-up on learners' feedback.
- Giving advice on the creation of assessments and evaluation strategies to measure the effectiveness of learning materials.
Your team
As our new Instructional Designer, you'll be part of the Training Services team which, in turn, fits into the bigger picture of the Learning Services_ _team.
**Profile**:
We are looking for someone who meets the following qualifications:
- A degree in educational sciences, pedagogy, or a related field.
- At least 3 years' experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or a related role.
- A strong understanding of instructional design principles, learning theories, and adult learning principles.
- Proven creative thinking and problem solving-abilities.
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
- A strong affinity for IT as most of our trainings are quite technical.
- The ability to acquire technical and supply chain knowledge in a rather limited timeframe.
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience with e-learning tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline).
- Knowledge and experience of learning management systems.
