-You will share responsibility of managing the system requirements, safety and verification for image guided Proton Therapy solutions.

**Challenges we trust you with**
- Ensure design verification engineering by defining test plans, test methods, analyses, design reviews and performing tests, for an X-ray imaging system
- Coordinate design verification activities: test protocol preparation, execution, reporting, planning of verification missions
- Understand and negotiate product changes, allocate and flowdown system requirements, trace them and document them in a complete and consistent way;
- Take part in the improvements of system engineering methods and tools by collecting, suggesting and implementing changes in agreement with the experts.
**What we value**
**You have (required)**:
- A degree in Biomedical Engineering (or equivalent) with a multidisciplinary background
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- At least 2-3 years’ experience in system verification activities (execution/coordination)
**You have one or more of the following experiences (preferable)**:
- Application of regulatory and quality constrains in a critical and complex environment. Medical devices framework is a plus
- Interaction with internal and external third parties, including Product Management representative, customer representative, third-party representatives, regulatory authorities
- Use and maintenance of a Requirements and test management tool (DOORS; RQM, Polarion, Helix)
- Applied medical image technology (CT, CBCT, MRI) and/or medical image processing techniques (denoising, registration)
**And you also are**:
- A team player able to communicate / facilitate / focus on promoting solutions, even in exposed situation (towards management or regulatory authorities)
- Capable of thinking cross-functionally and systems thinking
- You have a strong sense of structure and rigorous documentation skills, even in an hectic context (short deadline, high level of business expectancy, stakeholder’s specific interests...)
- Quality focused, working for the highest value for your stakeholders
- You are ready to travel up to 20% of your time for testing activities
**Cherry on the cake**
- A first experience using a Requirements / test management tool (DOORS; RQM, Polarion, Helix,) or management tool used in SW development (Jira,).

**Proton Therapy - a more targeted treatment**
Proton Therapy is considered the most advanced currently available therapy and a valuable treatment modality for thousands of adults and children who are diagnosed with cancer. Proton Therapy aims to destroy cancer cells by delivering proton beams to a target tumor. Protons release their energy within the tumor target area while limiting the radiation to the surrounding healthy tissues.
