Healthcare Clinical Administrator

The Central European Practice (CEP) at SHAPE have a vacancy for a Healthcare Clinical Administrator, a permanent full-time position category C5A. The starting rate of pay is € 3930.60 gross per month, going up to a maximum of € 6092.60 in 10 annual increments. This position is open to current DEL staff as well as to external applicants.
The Healthcare Clinical Administrator is responsible for providing efficient support to the patient population in Europe and Türkiye, and for the accurate management of healthcare records for both the military and civilian population registered at the CEP.
Duties include:
- Providing direct and indirect support to patients by assisting them with queries, coordinating appointments and uploading clinical information to their records
- Providing administrative support to the Nursing Team including coordination of appointments and ensuring that correct information is available
- Coordinating practice referrals, updating the referral tracker, ensuring follow-up on referrals
- Coordinating monthly searches to identify patients for screening programmes and reviews of Long-Term Condition, assist with arranging appointments and ensure all documentation and preliminary readings are in place
- Conducting independent audit of patient records with regard to screening programs and identify areas that may benefit from improvement
- Leading and publishing the monthly health promotion campaigns
- Identifying the need for and coordinating the translation of clinical information and follow up as required.
Applicants have to have good IT skills, excellent organisational and time management skills and effective written and verbal skills. They need to be self-motivated and able to work independently as well as of part of a team. An excellent knowledge of English, both verbal and written, is absolutely essential because that is the working language. Very good knowledge of either French, Dutch or German is also required. Ideally, applicants also have experience of working in a healthcare and/or military environment and hold a category B driving licence.
