**Job description**
- Based on a strong business feeling, you take matters into your own hands when it comes to purchasing to contribute to the further growth and development of Soudal.
- You negotiate confidently with suppliers about prices, delivery terms, payment conditions and quality. You know how to match the purchase (price & quantity) to the budgeted production.
- You build long-term relationships with suppliers, actively search for new suppliers and guide them in the development of tailor-made raw materials, packaging and trade goods.
- You are an international point of contact for suppliers and colleagues. You inform them about product requirements, technical specifications or (logístical) conditions. You keep the parties involved informed with insightful information and clear advice.

**Profile**
- You preferably have a master's degree, or equivalent through experience, and several years of experience in purchasing.
- You are analytically set and have a sharp assessment. You are both numerically and relationally strong.
- You easily make contact and make effective use of your network to develop partnerships. You are strong in negotiating, arguing, advising and convincing. You can easily include others in your proposals or ideas, and exude enthusiasm and self-confidence.
- You can work smoothly with MS Office, especially Excel and SAP.
- You speak Dutch and English fluently. Knowledge of French and/or German is a strong plus.
