Purchasing Executive Overland

As Purchasing Executive Overland & Cities, you will have a dual role. On one hand, you will support the Head of Purchasing on a day-to-day base with planning, organisation and follow-up of all the purchasing activities of our international Purchasing team and will be in close contact will all the product teams of the source markets. The second part will consist in assisting the Purchasing team pre - during - post contracting trips and handle a small selection of home based contracts on an ad-hoc basis.
**ABOUT THE ROLE**
- You will prepare and follow up all purchasing related meetings, plannings and reports within the international team of purchasing managers Overland & Cities;
- You will manage your own commercial contacts and deliver assigned contracts according to the commercial requirements of the source markets via desk top contracting on an ad hoc basis;
- You assist the Head of Purchasing in day-to-day administration, provide ad hoc support for the purchasing team and independently treat, filter and reply to incoming communications from all involved stakeholders (phone, mail, );
- You will help implement and develop a Governance structure for the Purchasing team and closely liaise with all Governance stakeholders;
- You will repare and assist in developing new ways of working, implementing and promoting new tools, systems, procedures to the stakeholders involved;
**ABOUT YOU**
- You reason on a bachelor level and have about 5 years of experience in a purchasing/product environment;
- You are fluent in Dutch, English and German;
- You are stress-resistant and flexible as you will be abroad for a few days;
- You work well in a team;
