Your mission?

You will participate in the complete development cycle of the embedded software for the Traction converter, by assuring the works of design and test of the software for Command-Control.

You will collaborate with the Traction Control and Validation Software Engineers.

the Software Engineer design the software, realize the integration activities, and generate the simulations for the traction applicative software, based on functional requirements specification documents.

You will:

- Work on many projects and manage the priorities
- Respect the design and internal process
- Co-ordinate Software Design for Traction/Auxiliary system with the Software and Control team for the whole train and he is the one who supports/leads during technical review or for training with the final customer
- Support the Traction Control Engineer for the functional requirement specification writing
- Write the software requirement specification according to the functional requirement specification
- Write the quality documentation
- Support the validation activities on the test bench
- Support the commissioning team and Traction/Auxiliary control teams
- Respect the QCD and update the indicators of software activity
- Participate in the design reviews
- Participate in audits within the framework of the software certifications
- Responsible for the configuration management of the software project
- Manage project Software team
- Manage software development planning in agreement with project planning
- Organize software development with the validation team in terms of planning according to the project requirements,
- Organize and realize the follow-up of activities placed under your responsibility (budget and workloads), following the criteria: Quality, Cost, Delay (QCD)
- Ensure technical interfaces with subcontractors’ team and delivery acceptance on the software development project, respecting processes and legislation rules

A job made for you?
- BSc in Electrical Engineering with 2-5 years of experience.
- Advanced knowledge of embedded Software system
- Advanced knowledge of Integrated Development Environment and Control Build, Matlab/Simulink
- Basic knowledge of configuration management principle
- Basic knowledge of requirements traceability principle
- Basic knowledge of Configuration and change management tools
- Basic knowledge of Control system
- Basic knowledge of power control electronic
- Good English oral & written expression

Asset:

- Good knowledge of Electronics boards (Architecture and basic software)

Soft skills:

- Autonomous,
- analysis capability,
- team spirit,
- good communication skills
