**About the company**:
Our client is a Belgian SME pioneer in the development and production of household products. Their mission is to become part of the daily life of consumers by making their lives easier through a wide range of hygiene products.

Through investments in R&D and the development of new products, the company has grown significantly since 2018 and is gaining ground on the competitors which are major International corporations.

In order to continue the development within classic retail and DIY/Garden (Brico, Mr Bricolage, AVA) markets, we are looking for an enthusiastic **Key Account Manager** to join the team.

**About the job**:
As a KAM, you will work closely with the General Manager and join a dynamic and successful team in a friendly, yet professional atmosphere.

**Amongst others, your responsibilities will include**:

- You will build and maintain for 40% of your time close relationships with the buyers and category managers of their key accounts at central level (e.g. Colruyt, Delhaize, Carrefour).
- You carry out annual negotiations and manage contracts.
- You will manage and develop the product range at key accounts.
- You develop promotional plans and analyse the results.
- You develop for 60% of your time the distribution network and convert prospects into new customers (growth opportunities in Belgium, France and Luxemburg)
- You will analyse market data (Nielsen, customer data and feedback from sales representatives), prepare and participate in sales meetings and external events (e.g. trade fairs).
- You coordinate the work of the sales representatives and define their priorities.
- Strong command of French/Dutch (English is an additional asset).
- Successful 1st experience as a (Key) Account Manager with classic retailers on central level Food OR DIY/Garden clients, and have successfully completed several negotiations.
- Organized, precise and autonomous.
- Ambitious, result-oriented, proactive and constantly look for opportunities to improve and grow.
- Excellent client-management skills based on a professional but friendly communication style and a human-oriented approach.
