What does this job entail?

You’re joining a team of about 70 energetic professionals. With a great sense of humour, but a serious approach to your work you’ll fit right in. Together we support the Data Quality Management, Group Risk, Group Treasury and Group Finance departments for our entire client's Group, including the entities outside Belgium, adding an interesting international dimension to the job.

The team is spread across offices in Ghent, Brussels and Leuven: you’re welcome to choose the location where you’ll work. As a single team, you collaborate with colleagues in IT and the business side of the bank. Communication lines are kept short to enable strong forward propulsion and quick progress. We develop, evaluate and make adjustments in short sprints:
the very definition of agile.

What do they expect from you?
- You perform technical analyses of any changes or upgrades.
- You produce technical designs of the highest quality.
- You follow up release processes to make sure they run according to guidelines.
- You make sure functional analysts have all the technical support they need.
- You test and debug to make programs run the way they should.
- You check to make sure data loads and calculations run correctly and punctually, in production and in acceptance.
- You use your technical expertise to solve technical issues

**Profiel**
- You know your way around a variety of technical domains including Oracle and PL/SQL.
- Writing scripts in Perl is no problem for you.
- You enjoy taking the lead, collaborating and coordinating. The people who work with you appreciate your ability to successfully lead an end-to-end process from data flow to report.
- You have the interest, analytical skills and determination needed to quickly familiarize yourself with their IT and business processes. Any familiarity you have with the SAFe (agile) way of working is a benefit.
- You enjoy learning, adding knowledge and newly developed skills to your toolbox.
- Your analytical skills help you to understand problems and work out appropriate solutions
