Sales Assistant

Overview:
**ST Engineering iDirect - Manufacturing Competence Center** -** in**Erpe**-Mere** is the technical production unit of the STE iDirect group that is responsible for the production and repair of all its professional **satellite communication systems**.

Additional to this activity the MCC is also active delivering manufacturing services to a broad portfolio of other customers in **industrial, aviation, defense, medical and space markets.** The manufacturing plant has been awarded since 2015 as **Factory of the Future** and has been recognized as a reference in industry ever since.

To support its further growth in contract manufacturing the MCC in Erpe-Mere has a vacancy for a sales support assistant, who is excited to work in a high-tech environment with challenging customers. As a member of the sales team, you will be responsible for supporting the customer base and the internal departments with administrative sales operation processes for quoting and order fulfillment.

**Responsibilities**:
As our sales support you will:

- process technical customer data,
- launch request for quotations and create proposals,
- organize project follow-up meetings,
- be a point of contact for customer requests

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree (administration, trade or technical)
- Eagerness to learn (the large number of software tools) and grow to become an addressable team member
- proficiency, accuracy, and eye for detail
- a team player with a high level of independency
- customer friendly and focused attitude
- excellent communication and social skills
- fluent in Dutch and English (oral and written)
- good knowledge of MS-Office tools, experience with ERP-systems (SAP) and SalesForce is a plus
