Water Treatment EHS Specialist
This historic world-renowned water treatment company that prides itself on innovation is seeking a motivated EHS specialist to grow and excel within the company. If you are a hard-working and dynamic person looking for a challenge and the prospect of career growth, this role will suit you.
**Responsibilities**:
Improve EHS performance, keeping EHS Management system certifications in place
Establish local EHS programs that are compliant with laws, regulations and policies
Organise risk assessments for machines, investigate accidents and provide root cause investigation advice to improve safety
Responsible for the emergency response program, have procedure and intervention equipment and act in case of an incident
Management of sub-contractors with regards to safety training and auditing
Travelling around Belgium & the Netherlands to execute Field EHS audits and customer meetings
**Requirements**:
Safety Engineer / Safety advisor level 2 (Or willingness to reach this level)
Knowledge of local and European EHS legislation
General Knowledge of risk assessments, analytical tools, digital tools
Knowledge on health & safety issues, particularly the risks of chemicals and laboratory operations
Fluent in Dutch and English, knowledge of French appreciated
Excellent personal, organisation and management skills
