**A JOB THAT INSPIRES YOU**:
As Project Manager CSO/Gender, you are responsible to develop and manage Technical Assistance (TA) projects funded by key actors in the field on Development Cooperation, as the European Commission, GIZ, AFD etc. Technically spoken these projects will target support to Civil Society Organisations (CSO), institutional capacity building, development and execution of strategic frameworks and policy design. You are responsible for all phases of the projects (during the acquisition as well as the implementation cycle) guaranteeing sustainability and impact of our project results. You will be part of our growing and dynamic Peace & Security Department. You will be reporting to the Senior Project Manager (SPM) in charge of the said pipeline and working under the overall supervision of the Director of the Peace & Security Department in Brussels.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES

- Expand networks of experts, clients, and partners in respective fields.
- Contribute to country-specific activities related to various sectors.

- Lead and manage projects within various domains (namely: CSO, Gender, Culture), ensuring a positive reputation for GOPA PACE.
- Organize field monitoring missions to support project implementations and quality assurance.
- Oversee project team organization, results quality, and financial aspects.
- Participate as an expert in technical assistance projects or framework contracts.

- Actively contribute to developing and implementing strategies for CSO/Gender/Culture within the department.
- Identify technical trends and market developments in respective fields.
- Assist in broadening the donor landscape in each specific sector.
- Share updates and relevant information with the team regarding respective sector-specific matters.
- Offer guidance and support to junior colleagues under the technical coordination of the Project Manager and the overall supervision of the Department Director.

- Experience in negotiating contracts with clients and proven knowledge of EU PRAG requirements.

Qualifications and key skills
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in fields related to Social Sciences, International Relations.
- Master’s degree or other postgraduate qualifications in relevant fields would be an asset.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in international cooperation & development, including 3 years of Project Management/Tender elaboration.
- Fluent in French and English (fluent in writing in both languages).
- Excellent representation and communication skills.
- Sound knowledge of EU cooperation policies and instruments.
- Familiarity with EU and other donors’ funding procedures.
- Ability to establish and maintain long-term relationships with stakeholders.
- Computer skills: MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
