To keep our mission going strong, we're on the hunt for a hybrid power & connectivity solutions specialist to join our dynamic team.

We are looking for a **technical specialist in ESS (Energy Storage Systems) - Connectivity - Sustainability**.

**Your mission, should you choose to accept it**
- Optimize energetical solutions:_

With the arrival of the ESS (Energy Storage Systems - battery packs) in our rental fleet, we see the need for digging deeper in the combination generator - battery pack - grid. Defining the ideal solution will make the difference.

In case of a compressor installation, energy / flow measurement will make us help to propose a better, less energy consuming set-up for a next rental project.
- Keeping an eye on connectivity:_
- Optimalization of the connectivity of our units, and use this connectivity for:

- Creating us a clearer view on the status of our rental equipment.
- Creating a clearer view for our customers on our equipment that they rent.
- Using this information for improving our Rental Projects.
- Advanced connectivity solutions, on top on the standard ones.
- Find the synergy in our different connectivity systems & create 1x platform.
- Onshore (where 3G-4G-5G is present) & offshore where satellite connection will be required.
- Integrate connectivity on non-Atlas Copco equipment. (e.g., Flowmeter, stand-alone sensors)
- Be a_ Documentation Prodigy:_ Learn how to keep records of connectivity issues, solutions, and ideas for making things even better in the future.

Amongst other stuff, this is what you will be doing
- Optimize energetically our solutions
- Making sure that we grow in a competitive and challenging energy market
- Calculate set-ups
- Make the technical drawings
- Advise the Sales Engineers in the right set-up for each project
- Visit customers to explain the technical aspects
- Responsible for complex set-ups in the field of temporary energy systems and related software
- Communicate with the sales -& operations team.
- Analyzing customer needs, data analysis of projects, drafting detailed proposals containing both technical and commercial motivations
- Energy reporting of rental set-ups

**What talents are we looking for?**
- A passion for technology and a willingness to learn.
- Enthusiasm to become a whiz when it comes to network stuff, IoT tech, and all things connectivity.
- Good analytical and organisational skills.
- Solid understanding and interpretation of technical drawings and diagrams.
- Very good knowledge of English (spoken and written). Any other language is an asset.
- Bachelor or Master in electromechanical engineering or electronics / ICT or equivalent by experience.
- Good communication skills with all the stake holders.
- Competent and confident with the ability to work with little supervision. The ability to modify style to achieve results and maintain effectiveness. Reliable, tolerant, and determined.
- Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe, spending nights away from home.
