We are currently looking for an GL Accountant for one of our client active in the luxury retail industry and located in Brussels.
Quality and ownership being the main values of this company, our client is making sure that each employee, in all areas, respects these values and implements projects to promote them. By working for our client, you will get the opportunity to become the main person responsible for the Benelux general accounting among a mid-size team while playing a key role in the development and improvement of accounting and financial processes.
**Function**:
- Prepare monthly and year-end closings
- Reconcile intercompany accounts
- Ensure reporting and financial analysis over general accounting matters
- Prepare VAT, Intrastat and draft Corporate Income tax declarations
- Establish annual accounts
- Handle the preparation of audit files
- Participate actively in the implementation and improvement of processes
**Profile**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar position
- You speak French and Dutch and you dare to communicate in English
- Analytical and organized, you are known for being an efficient problem-solver and multitasker
- Working in a fast-paced and changing environment doesn’t scare you
