Wijndomein Valke Vleug, located in Puurs-Sint-Amands, is the winery of Vinetiq. It's a hedonistic and contemporary winery in harmony with local traditions and surroundings, designed by the award-winning and internationally renowned architect Vincent Van Duysen.

In addition to being a premium location for wine experiences, we produce white and sparkling wines from the 4.5 hectares vineyard. Therefore, we are looking for a Viticulture Manager. As a wine professional, you will work alongside the winemaker to manage the vineyard from planting to harvest. We are seeking a passionate vineyard manager who is not afraid of challenges and can thrive in a dynamic, growing environment.

**Responsibilities**
- Your main task is vineyard management with the aim of cultivating quality grapes according to the highest standards. All of this is done with a focus on regenerative and sustainable agriculture:

- You are responsible for winter pruning (soft pruning - Simonit & Sirch) and canopy management (thinning, training, leaf thinning, and trimming).
- You handle soil management tasks such as hoeing, mowing, fertilizing, and liming.
- You manage crop protection following sustainable principles.
- You oversee the harvest together with the winemaker.
- You maintain and organize equipment such as tractors, sprayers, cultivators, trimmers, leaf removers, etc.
- You supervise students, theses, and research projects in which the winery participates.
- You oversee seasonal workers during peak periods.
- You assist in the vinification process. This may be expanded in the future based on training and experience.
- You manage the administrative tasks associated with vineyard management (e.g., regulatory compliance).
- You occasionally assist in wine experiences at the winery, such as the launch of new wines or other tastings.

**Who are we looking for?**
- You have the necessary experience and education to independently manage a vineyard.
- You possess a phytosanitary license and can operate a narrow-track tractor.
- You are hands-on and technically proficient.
- You have an interest in sustainable, regenerative agriculture.
- You can communicate effectively in English. French is definitely a plus.
- You are skilled in planning and prioritizing tasks.
- Nature is our ally, but it also imposes limitations. Therefore, working hours are flexible with very intense periods.
