Our client is a fast growing company active in the **renewable energy sector**.

As **Compliance Officer **you will be **responsible** for:

- Provide legal support to ensure overall compliance with respect to the broad legal & regulatory framework related to e-mobility, consumer and retail activities;
- Proactively identify the evolutions of the legal and regulatory framework applicable in the e-mobility sector (energy transition, EU energy package, new code of conducts,...);
- Write and review contacts, assist in contractual negotiations and litigation, when necessary, in direct contact with external lawyers;
- Participate in the strategic developments within the group (product development, new business or market, M&A implementations, major contractors follow up,...);
- Supporting Public Affairs in informing/advising internal and external stakeholders.

The required **profile** for the **Compliance Officer **position:

- You have a master's degree in law;
- You have preferably 3-5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably, but not necessarily within the energy sector and a corporate law environment;
- You are interested in public policy, energy markets and have a first experience with commercial contracts;
- You are solution-oriented, pro-active and pay attention to details;
- You have the ability to manage several things at the same time without losing oversight;
- You have good diplomatic and social skills and enjoy building relationships with stakeholders;
- You are challenged and motivated by working in a fast-changing environment;
- You are a team player and possess a high level of integrity;
- You have an analytical mindset;
- You have good social skills and can work efficiently in a team;
- You are flexible and willing to travel on an occasional basis;
- You are fluent in Dutch and you are capable of working and drafting in English.
