Wij verzorgen IT-projecten bij diverse top 100-klanten over heel Vlaanderen en Brussel in volgende IT-domeinen: Application Development, Infrastructure Services & Software Testing. Op vandaag hebben wij reeds 180 fijne collega’s op project. Om ons team verder te versterken zijn we momenteel op zoek naar een **Data Program Manager** (m/v/x) om aan de slag te gaan bij onze klant in **Brussel**.

Functie

Data speelt een hoofdrol ter ondersteuning van die evoluties: meer en meer zijn data een enabler voor het decision making proces (operationeel, tactisch, strategisch). We worden echter geconfronteerd met een aantal data - gerelateerde uitdagingen:

- Rollen en verantwoordelijkheden rond het beheer van data zijn vandaag niet duidelijk en gealigneerd,
- Problemen met het tijdig/kwalitatief opleveren van data initiatieven,

Om het hoofd te bieden aan deze challenges, wil de klant inzetten op:

- Het opzetten van data domeinen. Alle data worden toegekend aan een domein, waaraan een owner wordt toegewezen. De owner wordt dan accountable voor de data in zijn domein. Hij wordt ondersteund door de data steward, die verantwoordelijk is voor het opvolgen van data quality etc.
- De switch van IT-led data producten, naar business-led data producten. De verantwoordelijkheid voor kwalitatieve, tijdig opgeleverde data producten komt bij business te liggen. De uitwerking van de data - producten gebeurt dan via multidisciplinaire (business én IT) teams en wordt geleid door een data product owner.
- Uitgebreide trainingen en coaching om zo transitie te kunnen maken en ondersteunen.
- Governance van dit alles is belangrijk en zal ook opgezet worden

Vooraleer een uitrol van de nieuwe rollen en verantwoordelijkheden, business-data producten en ondersteunende trainingen en governance te plannen in de hele organisatie, zullen een aantal pilots opgezet te worden om de aanpak te testen en te verfijnen. Een eerste wave van pilots is gepland voor 2024 Q4, meer pilots kunnen volgen in 2025 alvorens een algemene uitrol.

Deze transities vragen een gestructureerde aanpak en ondersteuning begeleid door een Program Manager (PM). We verwachten dat de PM volgende taken zal opnemen:

- De PM werkt de visie (incl why story) voor zijn programma uit. Hij beheert de scope, budget en timing.
- Werkt governance uit (detailleren, aligneren,van terms of references, processen gelinkt aan deze governance,).
- Beheert en zit steerco voor voor zijn programma.
- Het gestructureerd opzetten van pilots (bv. scoping, opvolging progress,), in overleg met business én IT.
- De PM helpt bij de voorbereiding van een tweede wave van pilots.
- Helpt om data product teams op te zetten
- Bereidt de transitie van IT-led naar business-led data producten voor, in nauwe samenwerking met business én IT.
- Plant trainingen en andere initiatieven om data competenties te verhogen, eerst in functie van de pilots die later dit jaar zullen opstarten, daarna in functie van een tweede wave producten en uiteindelijk voor de volledige geïmpacteerde populatie. De klant levert de inhoud van het trainingsprogramma aan.
- Coacht de data product owner, data domain owner en data steward.
- Hij treedt op als SPOC naar business en IT voor de implementatie van het data programma.
- Geeft feedback om te garanderen dat het model consistent wordt geïmplementeerd.
- Opzetten en faciliteren van zgn. communities of practice voor Data Stewards, Data Owners,.
- De PM borgt de terugkoppeling van data stewards, data owners en data producten naar management.
- Het is mogelijk dat ad hoc transversale initiatieven voot datakwaliteit worden opgezet.
- De PM beheert dergelijke initiatieven in zijn programma, en kan indien nodig één of meerdere van deze initiatieven trekken.

Functie-eisen
- Aantoonbare en uitgebreide ervaring/kennis in data management, governance, architecture, modeling,en zeker in data mesh principes.
- Bewezen ervaring als programmamanager. Je hebt uitgebreide ervaring in het beheren van data gerelateerde programma’s, het opzetten en trekken van governance/steerco’s, Ervaring in het opzetten en begeleiden van de introductie van dataproducten of initiatieven gericht op een verhoogde datakwaliteit en -uitwisseling tussen verschillende gebruikers (intern) en publicaties (extern)
- Sterke communicatie skills (zowel met meer technische data profielen als management profielen)
- Je bent analytisch, flexibel en beschikt over uitstekende plannings
