- For one of our clients, HAYS is looking for a Database Administrator to help them with enhancing the efficiency and security of data management._

**About the Company**:

**What you’ll be doing**:
As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing diverse database environments hosted both in-house and on Azure. These environments are critical, holding extensive insurance data for millions of active customers, contracts, and documents. Your role will involve handling complex tasks such as mergers and splits, data extraction, and problem analysis.

Automation will be a key aspect of the job, improving efficiency, reliability, and straight-through processing. Additionally, you will optimize the performance and cost-effectiveness of databases.

**What we are looking for**:

- Excellent knowledge of Dutch or French, with fluent English communication skills. Understanding the other national languages is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience with SQL queries and MS SQL
- Scripting language and process automation
- Azure technology stack
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.
- Great problem-solving abilities and a passion for continuous learning.

**Nice-to-Have Skills**: While not mandatory, experience with the following technologies would be advantageous:
Qlik

PowerBI

Cosmos DB

Storage accounts

Azure AD, RBAC
