**Purpose**
The management of the Control Tower department with the purpose of onboarding strategic customers and achieving the service and/or operational performance objectives agreed upon with sales for a selected number of strategic customers. Also to initiate cross-functional corrective actions to resolve structural service and operational performance issues, improve the customer experience and drive customer retention and customer advocacy.
**What are your main responsibilities?**
- Ensuring that knowledge, expertise and attitude required to achieve the Control Tower department’s objectives and DPD’s values are continuously embedded within the department and this through directing, coaching and encouraging 4 direct reports (Onboarding and Customer Performance Specialists).
- Reaching decisions and delivering excellence by building and participating in strong internal and external partnerships with all stakeholders on a tactical and operational level.
- Act as a driving force to continuously improve service, processes and organization to deliver a sustainable differentiated experience for all customer touchpoints, by anticipating the specific needs and based on customer satisfaction results.
- You report directly to the Customer Experience Director and are part of DPD's leadership group.

**What can you offer us?**
- Passionate about customer service
- People management experience in a customer service/experience and customer facing role is a must. Experience in logistics is a plus
- Excellent people management, presentation, communication and negotiation skills
- Organizational sensitivity
- Innovative in respect of service quality and efficiency and ways in which these can be improved within the bounds of the organizational resources
- Strong analytical skills
- Master’s degree
- Excellent knowledge of English, as well as very fluent in Dutch and French due to the various internal and external contacts
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent contract
