**Who are we?**
The Data Domain team is responsible for establishing, consolidating, and unifying data and analytics services across the business area of Compressor Technique within Atlas Copco. We aim to become the business partner for trusted, transparent, and robust enterprise data to enable data driven decision making. The Data Governance Organization ensures the general management of the availability, usability, integrity and security of data across the business area.
**What are we looking for?**
**Key responsibilities and accountabilities**
- You collaborate with the Data Governance Organization in the creation and follow-up of Data Governance business cases, assessments, resource plans, implementation roadmaps and success metrics
- You contribute to the ongoing creation, maintenance and periodic review of data governance documentation and methodologies. Policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures
- You partner with data stewards to identify critical data and processes to implement enterprise business glossary and data catalogue within an agile framework
- You partner with IT to provide a unified approach to data governance, facilitating technology and business teams to achieve governance of the main data elements.
- You support the data stewardship community assisting with issue resolution and/or escalation and training
- You work closely with Master Data Governance Team for alignment on different business domains
- You establish with stakeholders a value-based approach for identifying and prioritizing data governance focus
You will have the opportunity to work with a highly motivated international team in a challenging and very dynamic environment. You will report to the Data Governance Manager Business Area Compressor Technique.
**Skills & Experience**
You have a good blend of business and IT technical skills. Specific requirements for this position include:
- You understand data governance best practices, tools, processes and roles
- You can create business cases and transformation roadmaps
- You can create process maps to document workflows
- You have experience with technical and business metadata management, master, reference data management. Analyzing data models and data sources to develop data dictionaries and data lineage documentation. Defining Data Quality (DQ) controls/rules, dimensions & criteria, and documenting data policies.
- You have experience in data analysis, data profiling, data transformation, and data reconciliation techniques.
- You have hands-on experience with data quality and remediation tasks to interpret data quality issues, data flows, report mappings, and assist to develop the data lineage process.
- You have knowledge of conceptual, logical, and physical data models, business operating models, data management principles and process engineering
- You have a background in delivering data projects in Agile tooling
- You are fluent in English.
