Your Profile:

- Master of Science or equivalent degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science or mechanical/automotive engineering
- Max 18 months of experience excluding internships or student jobs
- Required strong computer skills in Python, Matlab & Simulink, MS Offic (JIRA is a plus)
- Knowledge of BEV, HEV, PHEV and Toyota Hybrid System is a strong asset.
- Relevant experience in the field of data science: processing of big data, exploratory & explanatory data analysis, data cleaning, feature engineering, statistical & correlation analysis, machine learning model training and validation, visualization, storytelling and presentation.
- Strong analytical skills, perseverance, autonomous and the ability to work as part of a team in a hybrid style (office & remote). A tireless problem solver, with intellectual curiosity and the drive to investigate technical facts in-depth, for a spirit to challenge the obvious and the will to explore uncharted territories.
- Ability to communicate clearly at all levels, and visually summarise progress.
- Fluent in English (writing, reading & speaking). Any other European language is a plus.

Your team and your responsibilities:
**Division description:
**As part of TME R&D organization, the Powertrain (PT) Division is responsible for local development of powertrains for vehicles built in one of the TME Production plants, for planning and research of new European technologies and trends in the European technological battlefield as well as for development support towards TMC (TOYOTA Motor Corporation) in key areas including electrification, data science (big data) and connectivity.
Our activities are not limited to product or technology development but include development and implementation of methodologies or processes through Model Based Design.
**Your responsibilities:
**As a member of the data science team within PT Digital MBD you will:
- Support data analytics and develop advanced data driven and/or physical models to improve the development process of Toyota electrified vehicles.- Collaborate closely with TMC mother divisions and related divisions in TME, contribute to the “Digital” road map providing new ideas and/or directions based on your on-the-job experience.
- Lead collaboration(s) with EU Engineering companies to develop new technologies / competencies.
- Follow state of the art European digital technology trends through conferences and scientific publications.
