This is an ambitious role that will reshape future transactional FX processes and technology, building advanced and integrated capabilities using S/4 Finance, Finance Data Hub and Anaplan.

The Senior Manager role will need to have a broad understanding of the J&J Cross Sector Operating Model and it is crucial that this individual approaches the role with an Enterprise mind-set.

A deep understanding of Foreign Exchange Risk Management and the interaction with treasury is required. This role will lead and shape the future way J&J operates in the management of Forecasting, Hedging Integration, FX Reporting and Analytics.

The role will report into the Finance Director - Transactional FX - GPO and will join the BUF SigniFi Implementation team.

**What you’ll do.**

You will:

- Act as central point of contact for recommending Transactional FX key design decisions, changes to business process procedures and coordinating cross sector communications.
- Lead Sector FX Managers and address any business readiness risks identified cross sector.
- Review definition and documentation of new global policies and operating procedures using new technology.
- Provide guidance on all Transactional FX end state designs to ensure alignment and consistency with J&J Exposure management and Hedge Accounting policy (WWP230A).
- Partner with the Finance Solution and Technology Team, Sector Finance teams and Treasury to identify, develop, formalize, and implement interim and end state Transactional FX finance processes.
- Contribute and provide input into transactional FX governance team and support the identification of risk/opportunities.
- Partner with external consultants on program coordination, planning and prioritization.

- A Bachelor’s degree in economics or equivalent is required. Master's degree is highly preferred.
- A minimum of 8 years relevant business experience in a sophisticated and international environment is required.
- Strong communication skills.
- The ability to work with difficult and complex business matters; Big picture orientation combined with attention to details.
- The ability to influence and provide effective communication at all organizational levels.
- A proven agile attitude and creative mentality, comfortable driving change and innovation.
- Demonstrated comfort in times of ambiguity.
- Experience with working in global / virtual environments.
- The ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills (accurate), intellectual curiosity and proven leadership skills.
- Strong technical and accounting expertise (US GAAP, ERPs, SigniFI) with strong compliance mentality.
- Proficiency in English.
