Legal Counsel

GEOxyz is an independent company specialized in hydrographic, geophysical & geotechnical and topographical surveys, site investigations, off shore renewable energy support and crew transfers. The Company operates primarily in the North Sea basin and liaises with highly qualified people (about ~ 180 employees) as well as state of the art assets (vessels, measurement and analytical instruments). The current business has about €60,0 million worth in sales.

**In search of a legal counsel**:

- You will be responsible for negotiating and managing a diverse range of business contracts relating to on
- and offshore survey projects and/or asset support. You will advise on legal risk and liabilities associated with such contracts and how to manage these.**Your main tasks**:
- You will liaise with your colleagues of the legal, regulatory and business teams to ensure and coordinate appropriate support.-
- You will provide general legal support to project companies and other group entities.-
- You will be a member of a dynamic legal team and will report to our lead counsel legal.**What do we expect from you?**:
- You have a master’s degree in law.-
- You are fluent in English, written and verbally.-
- You have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a lawyer or as an in-house legal counsel in the construction/real estate industry or as a corporate lawyer in a legal department of an (international) company.-
- You have experience/interest in contract management, commercial contracts and business law in general.-
- You have the ability to manage several things at the same time without losing oversight.-
- You have good diplomatic and social skills and enjoy building relationships with stakeholders.-
- You are a team player and possess a high level of integrity.-
- Having experience in dealing with BIMCO, LOGIC and/or FIDIC agreements is a plus.**What do we offer?**:
