Statistician

**Job description**:
Our partner active in the pharmaceutical sector is looking for a Manager of Statistics & Data Science to produce, qualify and review the Statistical Analysis Plan, the statistical programs and performing the appropriate QC Validation.

In addition, your primary tasks are the following:

- Contribute to the design, statistical analysis and modelling, including Bayesian and frequentist models, simulation, designs to ensure both effective decision and submission
- Develop and execute statistical analysis in collaboration with the scientific programmer and the sponsor representative, as appropriate
- For clinical projects, contribute to Protocol and Statistical/pharmacometrics Analysis Plan writing, statistical analysis of study data, Table Figure Listings production and review, Clinical Study Report of early phases studies,
- For non-clinical projects, contribute to Quality by Design projects, design of experiment, stability and validation studies, analytical and biomarkers methods development,
- Perform problem solving: address identified issues (select an approach and get the solution), report solutions to the Project Leader, take part in team discussion (identify issues, propose alternative approaches,...)

**Have you got what it takes?**:

- Master’s degree or PhD in scientific field, ideally in statistics or mathematics or have experience or proven training in these fields
- **2-5 years of experience in a similar role**:

- **Good working experience** of at least one software package used in statistical analysis (e.g. SAS, R )
- **Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry,** including laboratory, CMC and supply, preclinical and early clinical development and the underlying statistical issues
- Autonomous, team player and proactive
- Fluent in **English**
