Accountant I

The Junior Accountant is responsible for ensuring completion of customer invoicing and follow-up of customer payments of the EMEA entities. He/she will also be involved in general accounting tasks and reporting as well as other administrative tasks.

Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Works under general supervision of the Regional Controller.

**POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES**

Assist in customer invoicing for all EMEA entities

Follow-up of outstanding customer invoices and payments

Send reminders and call the customers if needed for the EMEA entities

Provide back-up to the Finance Manager, this involves daily accounts payable, accounts receivables and bank transaction processing

Assist in reconciliation of accounts for the EMEA entities

Create and generate weekly and monthly reports

Other tasks as needed

**EDUCATION**:
High School diploma or Equivalent combination of experience, skills, training and education

**TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE**:

- 2-4 years of basic accounting experience, with some specific experience in accounts payable
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, (Word, Excel) and other widely accepted accounting software; good keyboarding skills with the ability to input alpha and numeric data quickly and accurately, including 10-key
- Fluent English, French and Dutch language skills both oral & written are a must.
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Deadline and time sensitive
- Service oriented
