**Job description**

Your primary responsibilities include:
- Organizing transport of the central fleet between our European locations, at competitive rates and in compliance with the relevant legislations
- By doing so, you build up specific expertise on the logistics challenges of Rental Europe and, in collaboration with your European colleagues, you continuously finetune this knowledge
- Acquiring market knowledge in order to make correct estimations of the total logistics budget for national and international projects during the quotation phase
- Expanding the customs competence within our European organization in collaboration with the relevant regions. This includes:
- Organization of temporary export of Rental Europe fleet for projects in non-EU countries & offshore locations, incl. the follow-up on customs guarantees and VAT declaration
- Collaboration with specialized carriers and customs declarants in those regions
- Organization of shipments & customs clearance for worldwide inter-depot fleet transfers
- Proactive management of the rental fleet in non-EU countries to optimize the financial and administrative impact of customs
- Collaborating with our European organization’s carriers and continuous evaluation in terms of their rates, capacity, flexibility, reliability & sustainability of their truck park
In this position, you report to the EU Rental Desk & Logistics Manager and are located in the EU HQ in Boom, Belgium.
**Educational, Knowledge and experience requirements**
You have a relevant recent experience of preferably 3 to 5 years in Logistics, including relevant experience with customs.
You have obtained a Bachelor degree or equivalent through experience, and are fluent in English. Knowledge of Dutch is definitely convenient as well, but not a requirement for the position.
Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills are required.
You have a sound knowledge of the MS office suit and experience working with an ERP system.
You have excellent planning and coordinating skills.
