De afdeling Customer Data Analytics heeft als missie om op een proactieve manier cliëntenkennis op te bouwen, te centraliseren en te exploiteren om de realisatie van de commerciële objectieven en de cliëntentevredenheid te ondersteunen. Het gaat om een multifunctioneel team van o.a. ‘data scientists’, ‘digital analysts’, ‘campaign programmers’, ‘data analysts’ en ‘data managers’.
Customer Data Analytics wordt ‘together’ aangestuurd tussen Belfius Bank en Belfius Insurance. De data scientist zal binnen de perimeter van Belfius Insurance werken voor het merk DVV, in nauwe samenwerking met het team dat instaat voor het merk Belfius Verzekeringen en vele andere teams (DVV commercial data warehouse, marketing & sales, digital, omkadering, IT,).
Naast het domein Customer Data Analytics DVV, zal de data scientist ook ondersteuning leveren voor transversale analytics initiatieven in samenwerking met andere business units. Dit kan gaan van het bouwen van fraude analyse modellen, tot Natural Language Processing ter ondersteuning van onze chatbot.
De verantwoordelijkheden van data scientist omvatten onder andere:
Targeting: het end-to-end beheren van optimale doelgroepen voor commerciële acties. Dit omvat onder meer het:
- Challengen, optimaliseren en beheren van de aanvragen.
- Business requirements nauwkeurig vertalen in selecties van concrete doelgroepen in het data warehouse.
- Programmeren van de selecties en analyses in SAS, SQL en Python.
- Bouwen van data science modellen ter ondersteuning van de commerciële acties en voor het proactief aanleveren van opportuniteiten aan het net: propensity to buy, next best action, churn.
- Opvolging van de resultaten van campagnes: performance, attributie verkopen.
Transversale analytics initiatieven:
- Uitvoeren van data analyses ter ondersteuning van de opstart van nieuwe analytics use cases.
- Nauwe samenwerking met business en IT om relevante data te vinden en verwerken.
- Nauwe samenwerking met een community van data scientists om voorgestelde oplossingen te bespreken en challengen.
- End-to-end ontwikkelen van data science modellen, tot het in productie zetten en onderhouden in samenwerking met IT.
Digital analytics DVV: het end-to-end beheren van de digitale rapporteringen als centrale contactpersoon tussen business en IT, van tagging tot insights.
Personalisatie: de ervaring van de klant optimaliseren en personaliseren op basis van data. Dit vertaalt zich onder meer in het werken aan een commercieel klantbeeld en het personaliseren van digitale flows op basis van data. De data scientist zoekt een antwoord op de vragen:
- Who: wie is de klant, wat zijn zijn behoeften op korte en lange termijn, wat zijn zijn voorkeuren?
- When: wanneer moeten we een commerciële boodschap sturen, met welke frequentie?
- What: welke service of welk product moeten we aan de klant voorstellen?
Insights: het maken van analyses ter ondersteuning van beslissingen samen met de commerciële, strategische en operationele teams. Hiervoor zal de data scientist nauw samenwerken met de business om de vragen en de noden in kaart te brengen, en vervolgens met de verschillende data en IT teams om de juiste data te verzamelen en die in relevante inzichten om te zetten.
Ad-hoc data support: de data scientist ontvangt regelmatig verschillende vragen over producten, klanten of agentschappen, en gaat die informatie in verschillende systemen zoeken om vervolgens de resultaten duidelijk te communiceren
