**TAX SPECIALIST BELGIUM**:

**The tax specialist will support and advise the Tax Manager in different domains and tax projects.**:
**The activities can be summarized as follows**:
**Support and advice the Tax Manager in CIT, TP, CFC, tax reporting, M&A domains and global tax** **projects**:
- Contributing to ensure that all tax activities are fulfilled in compliance with local regulations, internal manuals and group requirements;
- Participating in optimizing local tax activities, payments and internal reporting (tax management and optimization);
- Preparing, coordinating the yearly tax returns and CIT forms for Belgian legal entities, in collaboration with external service provider (compliance);
- Preparing, coordinating and submitting the TP requirements for Belgian legal entities, in collaboration with external service provider;
- Providing support during the quarterly tax accounting process and closing including management of prepayments, in collaboration with General Ledger - Ensuring high-quality group and statutory reporting of the Belgian financial data;
- Participating in complying with Group requests (CFC, Globe, accounts, etc.), in collaboration with General Ledger;
- Providing tax information to Belgian tax authorities in case of CIT or TP audits;
- Coordinating ongoing tax projects;
- Keeping tax database and internal manuals updated;
- Being main point of contact of tax department for internal and external stakeholders in the fields of CIT and TP;
- Organizing regular tax updates with Tax Manager Belgium.
**The profile we are looking for**:
- **Education**: Master degree in Business/Economics, Finance, Accounting or any other related field (specifically Accounting or Tax) - Specialization in Tax Law is a plus.
- ** Experience** : minimum 3-5 years
- ** General qualifications**:
- Fluent in French, Dutch and English
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong knowledge in CIT, TP and tax accounting (IFRS and Local Gaap knowledge)
- Advanced knowledge in SAP
- Excellent understanding of internal controls
- Strong organization, planning and project management skills
- Strong business acumen & analytical skills with attention to details while being solution oriented
- Flexible, proactive and willing personality
