We are seeking a skilled HR Professional to join our team in Oostende, Belgium. The HR Professional will work as the on HR presentative on site, and will provide comprehensive HR support across Belgium and the Netherlands; whilst working closely with the regional HR team and reporting into a global HR structure. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth HR operations, effective payroll management, and maintaining compliance with company policies and local regulations. Additionally, the HR Professional will play a key role in solving complex regional issues, whilst identifying tasks that can be streamlined and managed by centralized support teams.

**Responsibilities**
- Payroll Management:Collaborate with the payroll organization to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for employees in Belgium and the Netherlands. Including addressing payroll-related inquiries from employees and liaise with the payroll team to resolve any issues or discrepancies
- Task Identification and Centralization:Identify routine HR tasks that can be effectively handled by centralized support teams, improving efficiency and freeing up local HR resources
- Reference Letters and Official Documentation:Draft and issue reference letters for current and former employees in Belgium and the Netherlands including preparation of addendums and other official HR correspondence as required, ensuring accuracy, compliance and confidentiality in all documents
- Employee Inquiries:Serve as the primary point of contact for basic employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs in Belgium and the Netherlands
- Administrative Support:Assist in maintaining accurate employee records and HR databases as well as supporting the regional HR team with various administrative tasks and projects, ensuring the smooth operation of HR services
- Benefits Administration:Manage and administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other company-sponsored benefits in Belgium and the Netherlands
- HR Advisory Services:Provide advisory services to employees on transportation benefits such as business bikes, company cars, and public transportation options

**Qualifications**
- Experience: 3-5+ years of experience within the Human Resources field, with significant exposure to payroll management and interaction with payroll organizations
- Customer Service: Proven experience in providing high-quality client and customer service
- HR Tools: Solid understanding of HR processes and tools, including basic knowledge of HRIS and ticketing systems
- Documentation: Experience in managing and documenting HR processes, with attention to detail and compliance
- Compliance: Familiarity with local HR and payroll regulations in Belgium and the Netherlands
- Centralization Experience: Experience in identifying and transferring tasks to centralized support teams is a strong advantage

**Competencies**
- Language Skills: Fluent in English and Dutch (French is a plus) with excellent oral and written communication skills

- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and structured approach to problem-solving and process improvement
