Kennedys is seeking to recruit an “Advocaat/Avocat” to join its litigation, insurance, regulatory and commercial practice in Brussels. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded team and be a part of a growing global law firm.

**TEAM**
- Our team in Brussels works on complex and commercial litigation (including international arbitration), insurance disputes and coverage questions and regulatory issues. The Brussels office's expertise in insurance, commercial, aviation and transportation matters are recognized in Belgium and globally.

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE**
- 2 - 3 years professional experience*, in particular insurance litigation, commercial matters and regulatory issues
- Fluent in Dutch and English (writing and speaking)

**DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE**
- Experience in the insurance and/or aviation and transportation sectors
- Command of French
- Previous client contact and attendance at business development events
- Arbitration experience

**SKILLS AND ABILITIES**
- Strong legal research and drafting skills
- To be proactive and take initiative
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage own time, excellent organisation skills
- Attention to detail
