Foreign Claims Handler

Our client, part of one of the largest insurance companies in the world, is looking for an entrepreneurial claims manager Foreign Claims.
**Description**
- Analyze coverage, liability and indemnification, taking into account international conventions and local legislation;
- Taking a position, communicating on the handling of the claim and justifying the decisions to each party involved (clients, brokers, counterparties, etc.);
- Communicate with internal contacts (loss adjusters, inspectors, etc.) during the different phases of file management, so that the claim is handled quickly and in the best possible conditions;
- Making proposals or decisions to improve the file;
- Ensure the technical and administrative management of the file;
**Profile**
- You have a study background in insurance or law;
- You are fluent in French and Dutch and have a good knowledge of English
- You have extensive experience in claims handling;
- You have a good sense of organization
- You are a real Team Player, customer oriented, you like to take initiatives and you are assertive
- You have good oral and written communication skills
- You are empathic and have good listening skills
- You adapt smoothly to changes and feel comfortable in a rapidly changing environment
