About the role:

What you’ll do:
As **Works Manager**, you will be responsible for organising and coordinating the execution of dredging activities. Your responsibilities include
- Ensuring compliance with legal and contractual requirements related to the execution of the works.
- Ensuring that standards around quality, safety and environment are met.
- Participating in meetings with clients, authorities and other contractors on site.
- Reporting technical problems of the vessels or equipment to the appropriate colleagues.
- Daily reporting to and consultation with Project Manager, the project team and the Aalst office on daily production reporting and progress of works.
- Identifying opportunities for subcontractors in consultation with Project Manager.
- Resolving issues on the project or problems with third parties.
**What you need**
You hold a master's degree in an engineering/technical field and have at least 10 years of relevant experience in the industry. By nature, you are a leadership person with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. In addition, you have strong powers of persuasion and the right attitude towards safety, quality and the environment. You speak and write English and Dutch fluently.
