As Category Buyer, you are responsible for the
**correct execution and follow-up of the entire charter process of ship parts**. You will be part of a team consisting of 5 colleagues.
- Identifying the requirements and chartering needs of **international projects**:
- **Develop and manage a network** of reliable suppliers and subcontractors
- Manage the **entire procurement process**: requests for offers, tenders, comparing offers, negotiating terms and preparing contracts
- **Build and manage relationships with various internal stakeholders** (business units, project and tender teams, other supporting divisions) and external stakeholders (ship owners and brokers)
- **Ensure compliance **with procurement procedures and contracts
- Ensure that suppliers and subcontractors meet standards for competitive pricing, quality, performance, safety and sustainability, and take corrective action when necessary
- You will report to the **Category Manager Chartering**
