**YOUR contribution**:
**Context**
We are looking for a new V.I.E to join our Market Risk Team based in Brussels.

The duration is 12 months contract.

**Role**

As a Market Risk Analyst, you will contribute to the fulfilment of the Market Risk missions with a specific focus on the Power activities in Central Western Europe (CWE), in particular you will:
- Contribute to the Risk Mandates definition;
- Proactively challenge in a constructive way hedging strategies that are implemented by portfolio managers;
- Perform market risk analyses of special deals requesting an Origination Committee validation;
- Monitor on regular basis compliance with the Risk Mandates;
- React to limit breaches and advise on remediation actions;
- Contribute to the digitalization and automation of the Risk reports to ensure this monitoring

**About YOU**:
**Hard skills**
- Good understanding of the energy and derivatives markets

**Soft skills**
- You have strong inter-personal skills to interact with portfolio managers, traders and other team members;
- You have strong analytical skills and a digital mindset;

**Education and professional background**
- 1-3 years minimum working experience in the energy or finance sector
- University degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Sciences, IT or similar);
- You speak English fluently
