**Skills, knowledge, experience required**:

- A minimum of 5 years of current, detailed, and relevant knowledge and experience with Oracle EBS Release 12.2 (or higher);
- Basic understanding of the data model for Oracle EBS Release 12.2 (or higher);
- Working knowledge of the Oracle Unified Method (OUM) and/or the Oracle Application Implementation Methodology (AIM);
- A minimum of 5 years of recent practical experience as an Oracle EBS DBA, demonstrating a 24-month sustained period of performance on the two most recent assignments;
- Practical experience with Oracle EBS and Oracle Database, including backup/recovery (RMAN), configuration, sizing, space management, monitoring, patching, upgrades, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and administration;
- Expertise in Oracle EBS Release 12.2 (or higher) technical architecture, including knowledge of the underlying database architecture, with a particular reference to schemas/products, database objects, file system structure, tables, views, packages, procedures, functions, triggers, sequences, indexes, and constraints;
- Practical experience with advanced topology elements like shared APPL_TOP, Oracle Clusterware, Rapid Application Cluster (RAC), and Automatic Storage Management (ASM);
- Sound knowledge and experience with Oracle's Enterprise Manager 13c or higher.
- Practical experience with Oracle's Application Management Suite for Oracle E-Business Suite;
- Experience working in a team that delivers a highly available service;
- Competency in documenting work done;
- Good UNIX/Linux knowledge and good automation (UNIX/Linux scripting) skills;
- Good SQL and PL/SQL knowledge;
- Familiarity with configuration management/versioning procedures and tools;
- Ability to work under pressure, on own initiative, and without constant supervision, to strict and tight deadlines;
- A good team player and communicator;
- English proficiency level: SLP 3333 according to STANAG 6001.

**Desirable**:

- Practical experience with the installation, upgrade and maintenance of Oracle Application Express (APEX) and ORDS;
- Practical experience with the configuration and troubleshooting of Web Application Firewall (WAF), load balancers and reverse proxies in an EBS environment;
- Experience with EBS environments hosted in Azure, AWS, OCI.

**Duties/role**:

- Working as an Oracle EBS DBA within the Service Support and Business Applications Service Line;
- Supporting the Enterprise Business Applications suite of tools;
- Reporting to the SSBA EBA Service Delivery Manager, installing, upgrading, and supporting Oracle EBS software and the associated Oracle Technology stack in a multi-tier/multi-node/multi-platform environment;
