For the Java Chapter of Engie M&S in Brussels,** **we are currently looking for a Java Developer

**YOUR CHALLENGE as a Java Developer**:

- You will work for a squad focusing on the development of API for internal and external customers.
- Design APIs that are coherent and consistent with the APIs that already exists.
- You are a good communicator and can work efficiently in a team as well as independently
- You are not afraid to challenge technical decisions, priorities,in a constructive way.
- You have a growth mindset, meaning you don’t mind stepping out of your comfort zone to learn new things, technically as functionally.
- You will help with the continuous technical improvement in our landscape

**YOUR PROFILE as a Java Developer**:

- You have at least 5 years of experience in the following technologies:

- Java 11 (and Java 17)
- Spring Framework (version 5 and above)
- Spring Boot (version 2.7 and above)
- Spring MVC
- Design & Implementation of REST API
- You have at least 3 years of experience in the following technologies:

- JAX-WS and JAX-RS
- SOA principles (REST, SOAP)
- Docker & Kubernetes
- You have at least 2 years of experience in
- Hands-on experience with cloud deployments (Microsoft Azure/Azure DevOps,)
- TypeScript (or JavaScript)
- Vue.js 2 (or a similar framework.
- Responsive HTML/CSS
- You have experience with, or are willing to learn the following tools or technologies:

- Experience with IntelliJ
- Knowledge of Reactive programming
- Knowledge of Kafka, Kafka Streams,
- Experience with Event Driven Architecture
- Experience with Microservice architectures
- Experience with GitOps
- Experience with the ELK stack.
- You have a strong safety and environmental awareness. You always take responsibility for the health and safety of yourself and your colleagues
