- Master’s degree, preferably in Business Administration or Engineering;
- 2-3 years of professional experience, in the Gas and Power markets with a high data analysis component;
- Knowledge of settlements of the EPEX and Elia markets;
- Strong operational and modelling skills with the ability to implement those using Python;
- Good excel skills;
- Analytical and synthetic skills, process orientation;
- Practical, economical, logical attitude and ability to solve problems;
- Ability to work and deliver results working in a team;
- Proactivity and ability to evolve;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Fluent in French and English - Dutch is a plus.

**Activités**

Reporting to the Energy Data Management team in Geneva and Head of Short-Term Power in Belgium, the Energy Data Portfolio Analyst is responsible for the collection, control, analysis, monitoring and reporting of energy data related to the operations executed in the Belgian Energy Market.

Key tasks are:

- Ensure adequate and timely flow of data and information between Belgium office and Energy Data Management team in Geneva;
- Gather data from various sources, clean and preprocess data to ensure accuracy and consistency;
- Management and validation of production and consumption measurements;
- Pooling calculation and imbalance economic cost of the BRP (global, by technology and isolated);
- Generate regular reports and dashboards to communicate KPIs on the Short-term Power activity to stakeholders;
- Follow-up ancillary services activity by managing data and penalties associated;
- Processing invoices related to the electricity market and associated services (payment approval in Geneva);
- Participation in the development of Back Office processes, propose improvements and coordinate implementation with TGPG;
- Monitor legal regulations, changes in market rules and Elia operating procedures (settlements and measures) and other applicable regulations;

Following its objective of carbon neutrality by 2050, TotalEnergies is strongly increasing its worldwide position in the whole power value chain, and especially in fast growing sector of renewables and flexible generation assets. To maximize the full value of such Power assets on spot markets, TotalEnergies Gas & Power aims to be present at each step of the value chain: from trading on the curve up to Day Ahead optimization, Intraday and ancillary services. This optimization of Short Power positions is based on a European framework with aggregation of generation (CCGT, Wind, Solar), flexibilities (DSR, Batteries), and power supply portfolio in order to maximize value creation for TotalEnergies company.
The job holder is part of a team located in Liège, while interacting with multiple teams spread across several European locations for trading control. The team will act in an uncertain energy commodity trading context with extreme market volatility due to a variety of factors including worldwide economics, energy resource development, political and legislative changes, climate change, and energy demand.
