**About the LIMS team**

Our LIMS team is part of the corporate IT department and acts as a center of excellence, responsible for the global LIMS Application platform, the delivery of new LIMS Solutions and day2day operational support, all in close cooperation with the BU Analytical labs, cross the globe.

**Position Overview and Key Responsibilities.**

Join us as a LIMS Business Consultant and Technical Architect.

As Technical Architect, you will ensure the performance and reliability of our LIMS platforms. You have an in depth understanding of the LIMS Application landscape and initiate improvements to optimize system performance and reliability. You will oversee the delivery of technical LIMS support services, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of user issues and requests.

As Business Consultant and Application Expert, you will be in close contact with the BU lab responsible, and translate their requirements into technical solutions and configuration. You will lead and execute small and medium size projects from functional requirements analysis to solution delivery. You will build and co-create solutions with our business units on top of a well-defined governance LIMS framework.

**Who we are looking for**:
Technical Skills:

- Bachelor applied IT or master in information technology or computer science.
- Profound understanding of IT infrastructure components and architectures.
- Experience in technical support, incident management, and proactive maintenance activities.
- Good understanding of Laboratory operations.
- Being ‘hands-on’ and eager to deep-dive into functional/technical issues and even to perform technical installations (cfr. connection to Lab instrument) during project implementations..

Soft Skills:

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information effectively.
- Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative.
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Adaptability and resilience, thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Mature, assertive and dynamic personality, with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Good oral and written communication, presentation and facilitation skills in English, additional language will be considered as an advantage.
- Willingness to travel internationally (EU, Asia, Canada): 30 to 40%.
- Good team player, being motivated and highly interested in LIMS functionalities.
- Ability to work independently when necessary, coping well with hybrid work model.
