**About the role**:
We are on a mission to revolutionize the 2T$ hospitality industry and to become a new vertical SaaS giant.

It will be your mission to make this a seamless experience for existing and new customers by making sure that shipped products are always of high quality.

You will be part of a new, growing team for a high growth tech startup in the hospitality industry, within the middleware team with a mission to make Thynk the best integrated system in the hospitality industry. The stack that you will develop on is **AWS** (ECS Fargate, SQS, API Gateway, Terraform), **Java Spring Boot Framework**, GitHub based.

We have 2 week sprints and 2 weeks releases. We are particularly close to the leadership team, the business and the product. Also, we are able to innovate at a rapid pace. We use Slack for digital communication and Notion as a collaboration tool.

**As our Senior Java Developer at Thynk, you will**:
You will contribute as an individual contributor in a strong, fully remote team and be a team player in a highly collaborative environment.

1. Technical Leadership: As a technical leader in the Thynk Middleware team, provide guidance and mentorship to the development team, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.

3. Architecture and Design: Collaborate closely with project architects to create software solutions that seamlessly integrate with Thynk middleware and align with established architectural principles.

4. Code Reviews: Actively participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure strict compliance with coding standards, project requirements, and security considerations.

6. Unit Testing: Develop and execute unit tests rigorously to validate code functionality, guarantee reliability, and facilitate seamless integration.

**About you**:
You’ll be a great fit if you are a:
