Financial Controller

**Job description**
- You report hierarchically to the Group Controller and functionally to the CEOs of the subdivisions (Chemicals and Heavy Confection division, located in Belgium and North of France). In this challenging and varied role you will be part of an international team of controllers.
- You do monthly reports on the P&L and the balance sheet.
- You coordinate annual budgeting and quarterly forecasts.
- You analyze and report sales, cost prices and margins.
- You are responsible for an accurate costing process and provide qualitative baseline data.
- You track output data from production: volume, efficiency, waste, etc.
- You analyze the investment proposals and calculate the ROI.
- You are closely involved in financial and IT projects.
- You initiate and support process improvement projects.
- You act as a sparring partner and provide financial reporting support to subdivision CEOs.

**Profile**
- You have at least 5 years of relevant professional experience in the field of audit and/or controlling.
- You have relevant experience, preferably in finance or economics.
- Experience in an international company is a plus.
- You have a fluent knowledge of Dutch, French and English.
- Experience with BI and SAP tools is a plus.
- You have strong analytical skills and knowledge of processes.
- You can present reports and figures in a concise and transparent manner.
- You are flexible and precise.
- You work well in a team, but you also know how to work independently.
- Your approach is pragmatic.
- You are strong in communication.
- You can work in a varied and international environment.
