Visual Designer

**Description**:
As a User Interface Designer (a.k.a. Visual Designer) within the design team of the Digital Customer Experience department, you contribute to the look-and-feel of our apps and digital solutions (mobile, tablet and desktop). Together with your fellow UI designers, UX designers and front-end developers, you contribute to an excellent digital customer experience.
You’re designing for more than 2 million digital users of “the Best Banking app in Belgium” (cf. SIA Partners, 2021, 2022, 2023).

You deliver pixel-perfect visual designs (UI) and specifications. This is based on wireframes that will be briefed by an user experience (UX) design colleagues.
You distil components from designs and describe them where necessary in our styleguide.

You will use our KDL Design System (a.k.a. KBC Design Language) when designing and you continuously contribute to the further evolution of this design system.
You test your own creations during the sprint deliveries of ICT and you feel responsible for a high-quality UX and UI delivery to our users.
When necessary, you think along about the most optimal way of working (process, tools, ).
So you work closely with your fellow UI and UX designers, but you also like to chat with a front-end developer, because after all, they take care of the final result of your creations.
A plus is experience with Motion Design and (subtle) animations (eg. AfterEffects, Lottie, ), but not a must for this position.

**Profile**

You have at least a bachelor's degree or similar experience in one of the domains: Digital Design, Multimedia, Product Design,but always with a clear focus on user interface (UI) design.
You work quickly, have an eye for detail and think along about the UI (incl. usability, behaviour, animations, etc.), but you can also contribute technically (design system / components).
You work fluently with Figma or you can easily familiarize yourself with it
You have knowledge of Adobe tools such as XD, Illustrator, AfterEffects,
(First) experiences with Figma Design Systems is a big plus
Knowledge of and experience with operating system-specific design guidelines is a must, as is the necessary creativity to find a generic intermediate language.
Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS is recommended.
You have excellent knowledge of the latest trends in responsive interface design and you keep yourself actively informed.
