**Job description**

You work in a R&D environment in a team of 6 consisting of scientist and technicians and work in different projects which will lead to the generation of bacterial strains. These strains could express different proteins such as luciferase and are generated through classic molecular work: cloning, mutagenesis, transformation, etc.
Other tasks can be screening samples using (Next Gen) sequencing, the optimization of expression systems etc. All experiments will be documented in an electronic lab journal.
Its a versatile position in the R&D environment of one of an international biopharmaceutical company.

**Responsibilities**
- You support in generation of various bacterial strains
- DNA isolation and screening of clinical samples using sequencing

**Profile**
- BSc degree in life sciences, biotech, biochemistry or similar
- You have experience with common molecular biology techniques as PCR, cloning, sequencing, etc
- Experience with next gen sequencing (Illumina) is a big plus
- You are a team player, you work structured and connect easily with colleagues
- You are fluent in French and are at least able to communicate in English
