**Jouw rol**
Als Technical Writer kom je terecht in de boeiende wereld van de **technische communicatie**. Je schrijft binnen een uitgebreid kader van richtlijnen, normen en stijlgidsen met **veiligheid** als kompas. Je werk is pas klaar als je 200% zeker bent dat de klant de techniek op een veilige manier gebruikt. Blindelings, als het moet.
Concreet:
- Je duikt diep in de **werking van de machine** of **software** en je laat niet los voor je die hebt doorgrond. Met je technische skills én **vlotte pen** vertaal je alles over de werking en de functionaliteiten in een **leesvriendelijke handleiding of ander technisch document.** Jouw taal? **Mensentaal.** Gestructureerd en kristalhelder.
- Je communiceert **toegankelijk en vlot** met de medewerkers van het bedrijf waarvoor je schrijft. Je weet met welke vragen je tot de kern komt.
- Je schrijft voor **verschillende sectoren**: van energie, machinebouw, spraaktechnologie, landbouwmechanisatie tot dienstverlening. Extra troef? Na een paar maanden weet je dus van alles heel veel.
**Jouw profiel**
‘**Perfectionist** tot in de kist.’ Zo durven je naasten je al wel eens te omschrijven. Verder prijzen ze je voor je **vlotte omgangsstijl**. Spontaan én toch **gestructureerd**. Ondoordacht aan iets beginnen? Geen sprake van. Je ogen blinken als je naast een machine staat. **‘Hoe werkt dat hier?’**, is altijd je eerste vraag.
En verder:
- Heerlijk **helder Nederlands**? Absoluut. Engels? _That would be nice_.
- Je hebt minstens een **bachelor of master in een technische opleiding**, denk: ingenieur, productontwikkelaarDiploma **preventieadviseur?** Extra punten.
- Kennis van de **Europese Machinerichtlijn**? Dan heb je een streepje voor.
- Je kan **gestructureerd schrijven met XML DITA** of je hebt goesting om dit onder de knie te krijgen.
- Je hebt gevoel voor **lay-out** en **structuur aanbrengen** in een tekst is je tweede natuur.
**Wat krijg je van DocWriter?**
Je tekent een **deeltijds** of **voltijds contract** met een **marktconform salaris** en andere voordelen zoals een groepsverzekering en maaltijdcheques.
- Je werkt in een stelsel van **40 uren per week** (voltijds) en dat betekent **12 extra inhaalrustdagen** boven op je wettelijk verlof van **20** **vakantiedagen**.
- **Flexibele** werkuren en thuiswerk is mogelijk. Zelfstandig werken is je op het lijf geschreven.
- Je krijgt de kans om je te verdiepen in nieuwe technieken, machines en software.
