Inventory Supervisor

The Inventory Supervisor works under the direction of the Global Kitting Manager and supports achieving daily production goals. In addition, this position serves as a leadership resource to team members, providing knowledge, experience, motivation, support, and advice. The Supervisor is in daily contact with the customer trouble-shooting issues in addition to maintaining reports.

**Responsibilities**:

- Act as main point of contact for daily operations for assigned account(s) as related to order fulfillment.
- Supervise 3 Inventory staff to ensure duties are completed as specified.
- Work with Kitting Supervisors to determine necessary production schedule to ensure timely
order fulfillment
- Work with customer(s) directly and within systems to forecast inventory
required for upcoming projects to ensure timely completion.
- Work within customer requirements to ensure orders are filled in appropriate order and timeline.
- Define, prepare, and generate reports on customer order KPIs.
- Manage all customer communication as related to material receipt and material transfer.
- Contribute to customer specific action logs to ensure customer is appropriately informed of delays and reason behind it
- Responsible for training and maintaining training records inventory
staff positions
- Responsible for ensuring inventory orders are shipped and inventory in appropriately tracked in company inventory system.
- Manage yearly inventory counts for multiple clients.
- Manage weekly cycle counts for multiple clients.
- Complete customer incident reports as related to errors in order fulfillment associated to inventory
- Assistin production as required
- Other duties as assigned
- Direct the purchase of inventory to support ongoing operations
- Source new materials from new and existing suppliers to support ongoing operation

**Requirements**:

- College Degree or equivalent industry experience of at least 5 years
- Familiarity with computers and Microsoft Office Suite
- 5 years supervisory experience
- Ability to collaborate, build and motivate teams, and multi-task
- Good analytical skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills

**Preferred**
- Experience with onboarding of new suppliers and procurement
- Experience with sourcing of new materials.
