As CI Supervisor for the Verviers, Belgium | Lonza site, you are in charge of the production administrative team. You define, lead and implement continuous improvements projects in production and warehouse in collaboration with supervisors, operators, technicians, OE manager and head of operations. You support supervisor in complex investigations, deviation and CAPA management and act as back up of supervisors during holidays, sick leaves, heavy workload,

Key responsibilities:

- Work with head of production and the OE team to determine the short, mid-term and long term strategy in OE
- Identify opportunities for throughput improvement, efficiency and cost reductions
- Facilitate the set up of the new documentation strategy (documentation content, training, )
- Analyze improvement opportunities (based on job logbook, perfect day, ) and propose improvement priorities (working with CI team and head of operations)
- Lead and/or to support improvement initiatives, coach teams embark in CI initiatives (JDI, )
- Support complex investigations and lead CAPA and deviations
- Liaise with stakeholders outside of the department and with production teams and warehouse teams to engage them in CI projects, initiatives
- Strive harmonization in CI for production and warehouse

Key requirements:

- Master in biochemistry, chemistry (but not limited to)
- Certified green belt or black belt
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or food industry
- Experience in people management
- Fluent in French and professional knowledge in English
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Great engagement skills and ability to influence teams
