Our client is a leading global licensor in Belgium, overseeing the intellectual property rights for beloved characters created by a renowned artist. The diverse activities span Book Publishing, Audiovisual Distribution, Music, Merchandising & Promotions, and Family Entertainment.
**Your new role**
As a Media Operator, you'll be part of the Audiovisual department responsible for distributing the TV program catalog globally.
Our clients include major, as well as local channels and platforms. In this dynamic media landscape, your role as a Media Operator is crucial. You'll ensure that our programs are delivered where and when needed, in the required format. Working closely with an external delivery partner, you'll act as the liaison between them and clients, providing screening materials. The programs are translated and dubbed into over 40 languages.
As a Media Operator, you'll oversee the entire dubbing process across various studios, partners and channels. Additionally, you'll manage metadata delivery to relevant partners. To maintain top quality, older assets undergo constant remastering, a process you'll handle from start to finish, collaborating with external studios.
Your responsibilities include coordinating with relevant platforms and channels to facilitate media deliverables according to technical specifications, monitoring and tracking assets, organizing workflows to ensure timely processing for delivery, collaborating with stakeholders on action rejections and recall notifications, updating or replacing materials as needed, maintaining accurate records reflecting the current delivery status of materials and specifications, preparing deliverables such as files for dubbing, subtitling, and closed captions, and upholding quality standards throughout the process.
**Your profile**
- A Bachelor or Master's Degree, or equivalent by experience ;
- 3+ years’ Project management experience in a television or media company in a media servicing role ;
- Fluent in English and French. Dutch is a plus ;
- A heart for the entertainment industry ;
- Familiar with technologies used in broadcasting, such as cameras, switchers, encoders and streaming platforms ;
- Understanding of the Post-Production Process ;
- Keep projects on track, meet deadlines, and allocate resources efficiently & Organize tasks and resources effectively ;
- Communicate clearly & Resilient to tight deadlines.
