Senior Buyer Capex

For one of my clients located near Tournai I am looking for a (Industrial) Senior Buyer Capex. He will work closely in collaboration with the Procurement Corporate organisation. The incumbent person will ensure the sourcing of raw material.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Develop, lead and execute sourcing strategies at local level, in coordination with his Procurement Manager and Corporate Team;
- Demand analysis and establishment of spend
- Support and/or perform the market
- Define and secure the local
- Manage daily activities on SAP (Purchase order and Invoice management).
- Participate actively in daily operations with local stakeholders (Production).
- Prepare budgets
- Ensure a good follow-up of its categories (cost and physical flows).
- Ensure process optimization or improvements in terms of raw material or energy purchase, consumption or planning as well as implementation of Corporate procedures.
- Lead some negotiations and close deals with optimal terms;

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- You have a Logistics, Technical or Commercial orientation (BAC+4).
- You have at least 5 years in a similar function (cement industry knowledge is nice to have)
- You have knowledge with : SAP MM, Ariba and MS Office
- You have analytical and negotiation skills. Strength of conviction, in order to retain the company's key suppliers and maintain good commercial relations with them.
- You are reliable and honest. You have sense of listening, in order to identify the constraints of suppliers and those of the various business lines of the company.
- You speak fluently French and English.
